Heat index to exceed 100F in more than half the lower states

Summer weather is on its way, Metro Vancouver. Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting a week of sunshine and balmy temperatures.
'VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, July 19. After a good soaking of rain and cooler temperatures this month, it looks like sunny weather will return to Metro Vancouver. Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting a stretch of sunshine and temperatures as high as 27 C toward the end of next week. Today the weather is expected to be a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 21 C. Overnight, a few clouds will linger with a low of 12 C. Then, the weekend looks warm and sunny. On Saturday and Sunday, expect sunshine and highs of 26 C inland or 22 C closer to the water. Heading into next week, the sunshine continues, with 22 C and 26 C on Monday, the same again on Tuesday, and then Wednesday and Thursday look slightly warmer with a clear sky, sun, and highs of 27 C inland or 23 C near shore.
